- Overnight Oats, Kath Eats. I use Steel Cut Oats for a chewy texture.
- Plain Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Fruit/Berries, Nuts, Maple Syrup and Vanilla
- Egg "Mac" Muffin. Fried egg and cheese on an English Muffin. This can be made the night before and wrapped in Parchment paper for a grab and go breakfast.
- PB, Banana & Strawberry Wrap, Food.com
- Whole Wheat Pancakes, Allrecipes.com - Make a big batch on the weekend and freeze. They can be thawed and reheated in the toaster.

- Ranch Dip Spice Blend, 100 Days of Real Food
- Mexican Spice Blend (Chatelaine) - Stir 3 tbsp (45 mL) chili powder with 2 tsp (10 mL) each ground cumin, black pepper, dried oregano leaves, 1 tsp (5 mL) each salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and 1/4 tsp (1 mL) cayenne pepper (optional). Great as burger seasoning or as a rub for pork, chicken or steak. Store in a sealed jar or plastic bag. Keeps well at least 2 months. Makes about 1/3 cup (75 mL)
- Caesar Dressing – mix well 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, 1 Tbsp Lemon juice, 1 clove garlic (minced) and just a little milk. The milk is to thin it out and give it the consistency you want, so base amount on preference.
- Steak Marinade (from Crazy Plates cookbook) -
- 1/4 cup soya sauce
- 3 Tbsp steak sauce
- 2 Tbsp each lime juice and packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp grated gingerroot
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Snacks
- Apple Nachos - slices of apple, shredded cheese, sprinkle of cinnamon. Microwave until cheese melts
- Apple Chips, Taste Love and Nourish
- Warm Apple Sauce and Cinnamon -- chop apples and boil until very soft. Mash with a fork and sprinkle with cinnamon. A 0 point (Weight Watchers) alternative to apple pie!
- Ricotta Peanut Butter Spread - Ricotta Cheese, Peanut Butter (or Almond Butter or Almond Pulp) and Maple Syrup. Serve with toast or use as dip for fruit.
- Quinoa, Apricot, and Nut Clusters, Martha Stewart -- great on thier own or crumbled in cereal or yogurt.
- Whole Wheat Cheddar Crackers, Weelicious - I use my Kitchen Aid instead of a food processor and it works fine!
